Norman represents companies in general corporate matters and a broad range of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation and restructuring, debt and equity financings, real estate, private investment, joint ventures, and stock and bond offerings. Norman previously served as senior in-house counsel to CalPERS with primary responsibility over the institution's private investment portfolio. Prior to CalPERS, Norman practiced at McDonough, Holland & Allen PC in its business and investment, institutional lending, and real estate departments.
In his spare time, Norm enjoys exploring Central Oregon with his wife and three children.
Norman was an commercial banker with US Bank and asset manager with HRI Properties prior to the practice of law. During law school, Norman was an intern analyst with Grubb and Ellis (now Newmark Knight Frank) and the Berkeley Land Company.
